Christine Costello, LCSW
Christine is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of California. She received her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Southern California after graduating with her B.A. from Duke University. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults facing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma, as well as issues around self-esteem, body image, relationships, and life’s many transitions. Christine is a registered yoga teacher and is passionate about utilizing mindfulness and self compassion to address self-criticism and alleviate suffering. Christine is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Exposure with Response Prevention, among other treatment modalities. She utilizes these evidence based practices to address the individualized issues that her clients face to aid them in achieving their personal goals and moving towards a place of healing. Christine believes that it’s her privilege to be in a therapeutic relationship with her clients; to help them reflect on their lives and solidify coping skills that can create real change. In her free time, Christine enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her two beloved cats.
